Abstract landscape inspired by the Estero Bluffs coastline on the Central Coast of California.
There is something wild and unfettered about the coastline between Morro Bay and San Simeon in California. Beaches are rocky, cliffs are high and strong, accustomed to the constant pounding of the Pacific Ocean. Sea treasures are abundant: shells, seaweed, and the appearance of coastal life both in the water and out.
I like to spend time here to feel the raw power of nature, especially in early spring when the hills are verdant green and peppered with the bright yellow of mustard flowers.
